"Duck for the oyster" is a love ritual know as a love ritual known as a square dance. The square dance was banned in the us 150 years ago by the church. They considered the fiddle to be the instrument of Satan and the possibility that cattlemen storming into the barn could end up dancing with the local Parsons daughter was something close to immoral never theless innuendo in the lyrics prevailed. Rolling in the clover, stepping in and out of the window, and other nursery rhymes were used, with the dancers slapping there hands over there thighs and whistling the tunes."Duck for the oyster" was inspired by those days, and it demonstrates what fun can be had by touch dancing.
Malcolm McLaren is currently working on his second LP, which will be released in the new Year.
